At its heart, Mi dondolo integrates advanced electronic mechanics: a discreet photocell ensures the cuckoo remains silent in darkness, safeguarding tranquility during nighttime hours. The cuckoo itself is both functional and evocative, activated solely on the hour, with a call that resonates through an echo, accompanied by the gentle ambience of a forest and stream. Volume control is precise, with two adjustable levels, and the call can be deactivated as desired. The design captures the essence of a bird gently rocking on its swing within a minimalist cage, blurring the line between sculpture and timepiece.
