Babele, designed by Marc Sadler for Martinelli Luce, reimagines pendant lighting as an object that balances formal simplicity with a bold presence. Its spiral profile, the lamp’s signature feature, introduces a subtle sense of movement that draws the eye without overwhelming the space. The intentionally uneven exterior—both in color and finish—contrasts with a warm, gold-toned interior that casts a soft, welcoming glow. Available in three diameters—45, 60, and 92 cm—Babele accommodates one or three E27 bulbs up to 15W, adapting easily to a range of spaces. The design moves fluidly between modern, classic, and industrial influences, making it at home in both contemporary and more traditional interiors.
