Eva is a table lamp conceived by Foster+Partners for Lumina, designed to inhabit the centre of the dining table with quiet authority. At its core, the Eva table lamp explores the interplay between function and atmosphere, offering an indirect luminance that evokes the gentle presence of candlelight. The form is defined by a turned aluminium base, seamlessly integrating an LED and optical unit, and crowned by a transparent glass cylinder. This cylinder is closed by a conical diffuser, which receives the beam from the concealed LED source and diffuses it outward in a soft, enveloping cone of light.The tactile ring at the base of Eva allows for precise manual control of the light level, inviting a direct, intuitive interaction. The result is an object that balances technical sophistication with sensory experience. The Eva Lumina lamp is available in both 3000K and 2700K versions, each offering a high color rendering index (CRI97) and a subtle, measured output (315lm or 305lm), ensuring that the light flatters its surroundings without overwhelming them.With its modern, minimalist, and subtly classic aesthetic, Eva finds its place in the living room or bedroom, where atmosphere is as essential as illumination.
