Meridiano is a pendant lamp conceived by Gabriele Buratti and Oscar Buratti for Fontana Arte, distinguished by a precise interplay of form, material, and light. The design centres on a slender, vertical cylinder that houses the light source, suspended within a transparent, colored glass capsule. This architectural gesture is both restrained and expressive, with the nickel-plated metal frame providing a subtle counterpoint to the luminous blown glass diffuser.A pyrex glass inner diffuser, finished with an internal lacquer, ensures optimal diffusion, while the outer glass shell refracts and softens the light, creating a presence that is at once modern and timeless. The Meridiano pendant lamp offers a double lighting system: the central core is dimmable, inviting nuanced atmospheres, while the lower section of the diffuser is independently controlled via on-off switch, allowing for tailored illumination. Both functions are integrated seamlessly, with 1:10 V dimmable technology and high-efficiency LEDs delivering warm, accurate color rendering (CRI>90).Suspended by a steel cable and finished with a black power cord and metal ceiling rose, the Meridiano Fontana Arte is available in multiple sizes and colorways.
