Max Ingrand envisioned the Ashanghai table lamp for Fontana Arte as a poetic interplay of transparency and structure—an iconic gesture of Italian modernism. Five slender borosilicate glass tubes form an architectural base, their crystalline clarity joined with subtle chromed brass accents, lifting a white acid-etched blown glass diffuser and a sandblasted float glass disk aloft. The result is a luminous sculpture that radiates a soft, ambient glow, infusing any interior with a sense of lightness, calm, and timeless sophistication.
Meticulously crafted, the Ashanghai table lamp features premium materials: borosilicate glass, chromed brass, and acid-etched blown glass. Its transparent cord and integrated push-button dimmer allow seamless adjustment of illumination, while the lamp accommodates up to three E14 bulbs (max 30W each, not included) for customizable lighting. Measuring approximately 44 cm in height and 35 cm in diameter, Ashanghai arrives fully assembled—perfect for side tables, nightstands, or refined lounge settings where nuanced, glare-free light is essential.
