This extremely elegant lamp is by Max Ingrand and its design dates back to 1955, the period in which the French master was artistic director of FontanaArte. Chromed brass joints hold together five transparent borosilicate glass tubes which, in a play of intersections, support the lamp. Ashanghai is a table lamp with diffused light, dimmable by push-button. Chromed brass frame. Base made of transparent borosilicate glass tubes. Chromed brass fixing joints. Diffuser in white acid-etched blown glass. Upper diffuser disk in float glass sandblasted on both sides. Transparent power cord, dimmer and plug.
