The iconic silhouette of the Tolomeo Lampione Outdoor Artemide collection is reinterpreted for open-air environments, where its substantial 50 cm diffuser establishes a visual anchor without overwhelming the surrounding architecture. An aluminum and steel structure, precisely balanced, supports the large shade—crafted in Paola Lenti’s Thuia fabric, a technical textile distinguished by remarkable durability and the tactile suggestion of natural jute.The light source, a high-performance 20W LED (3000K, 2034 lm, CRI 90), is shielded by an opaline element, offering a soft, even glow and IP65-rated protection against the elements. Tolomeo Lampione Outdoor pendant lamp may be installed with or without its shade; in the latter configuration, the exposed dome recalls the archetype of the classic street lamp, bridging the familiar and the contemporary.
