Copernico, designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paolo Dell’Elce for Artemide, reimagines the contemporary pendant with a minimal and dynamic approach. Nine aluminum ellipses, cut from a single sheet, revolve around two axes to create a shifting geometry. The slender, lightweight structure houses an integrated LED circuit with a warm 3000K color temperature, 30W power, 3686-lumen output, and a color rendering index of 90. Light emission can be directed as needed, allowing the lamp to adapt to its setting. When closed, Copernico compacts into a flat profile, highlighting its minimalist character and attention to detail. The fixture fits naturally in both residential and work environments, offering functional illumination and a discreet presence.
