Mantra Pendant lamps
A pendant defines a zone: the dining table, the kitchen island, the stairwell. The Mantra catalogue includes single pendants with compact diffusers, linear LED bars for rectangular tables, and multi-point clusters made of independent drops that you set to different heights during installation.
Hanging height
Over a dining table, the bottom edge of the diffuser sits 70 to 80 cm above the surface: high enough not to block the view across the table, low enough to concentrate the light where it is needed. Over a kitchen island you can go to 75-85 cm, since people are standing.
How many pendants
A table up to 120 cm needs one central fitting. From 160 to 200 cm, two or three pendants in a row work better, or a single linear bar: both spread light along the full length and stop the ends falling into shadow. Leave at least 30 cm between diffusers.
Cable and adjustment
Almost every Mantra pendant ships with excess cable, to be shortened at installation. Check the maximum cable length on the technical sheet if your ceilings are over 3 metres or you are lighting a double-height stairwell, and confirm the canopy suits the junction box already in place.
