To-Tie T1, designed by Guglielmo Poletti for Flos, features a pared-down style where transparent borosilicate glass meets the precision of anodized aluminum. The cylindrical frame houses a white polycarbonate diffuser, ensuring even, glare-free illumination from a 7W LED module at 2700K with a high color rendering index of CRI90. Its handle, both practical and distinctive, seamlessly integrates the light source into the form. A 180 cm black textile cable includes a dimmer, allowing smooth adjustment of brightness from 10% to 100% to suit different settings. The lamp’s structure is assembled without adhesives and allows for easy replacement of parts, supporting both maintenance and recycling. To-Tie T1 embodies a contemporary approach where technology and thoughtful details result in a discreet, refined lighting piece.
