A slender verticality in white frosted glass forms the lamp’s essential core, diffusing a soft, even illumination from a concealed 24V LED strip—60W, 8000lm, available in both 3000K and 2700K—delicately mediating between presence and absence.The defining gesture of Accipicchio lies in its subtle nod to the natural world: a white wooden woodpecker, crafted with minimalist precision, may be positioned along the lamp’s axis, introducing a tactile, interactive element that invites the hand as much as the eye. Alternatively, the light can be partially veiled with a dense black polyethylene net, an accessory that modulates the emitted glow, lending depth and texture to the surrounding environment.As a pendant lamp within the Karman collection, Accipicchio transcends mere illumination, instead offering a sculptural presence that quietly animates any space. The dialogue between its translucent glass, organic wood accent, and technical rigor reflects Ugolini’s ongoing exploration of narrative design—where every detail is intentional, every form evocative.
