This delicate ambient light inspired by the accordion is transformed into any shape you want and is also a perfect example of a lighting project that doesn't just illuminate... it also interacts! The folding lamp is equipped with a pleated Tyvek paper shade sitting between two pieces of wood. The lights of the lamp illuminate through the pleated paper, while the folded nature of the Tyvek allows you to manoeuvre the lamp like a spring, adjusting it in a variety of shapes and forms. LED lighting and the lamp's battery are integrated directly into its wooden ends, and hidden magnets allow the ends to snap into each other, creating attractive looking closed shapes, or even allowing multiple accordion lamps to be connected together to create a single, fun, flexible lighting strip! The portable lamp has two colour temperatures, which allow you to switch between warm and cold lighting by simply switching the lamp off and on.
